Bloody Ashura in Kabul

05 May 2009

Ashura, the 10th of Muharram is a holy day for Muslims and especial day for Shi’a. This day is a remarkable day of Muharram in Islamic calendar, the day of mourning for the martyrdom of Hussian the son Ali and the grandson of Muhammad in the unequal battle of Karbala in the year 61 (AD 680).

Hussain was the son of Prophet Muhammad’s daughter Fatima in which Muhammad said: Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain, may God love whoever loves Hussain. Apparently Hussain with his 72 colleagues whom were all from his own family and relatives killed in the battle took place in Karbala in the land of Iraq on the shore of the Euphrates River.

HI to all and specially to Nasim Jan Fekrat.

Yeah, it is really painful , but not for those who loves IMAM Hussain, Although from Islamic point of you it is not allowed to do so, but still there are some youths doing it beside all prohibitions.

    to Bilal,
dear brother, lets not insult any religious activity, I dont know about your belives and thoughts, if you are Christine or Muslim but it is important not to insult. I dont think it is worse or bad. It is better you once check the fight of YAHUDI and MASIHI, which is called the SALIB FIGHT.

Ashura is the story of loyalty, bravery, piety, magnanimity and self-sacrifice. It is the eternal saga of persons who created epics to safeguard humanitarian principles so that the coming generations can live in dignity with heads held high in defense of truth.

Hussain and Muhammad - are they peace makers or normal warriors. What do they stand for? Why should some one lament for the death of warriors who kill others and are against humanity??

I don’t like this. It is stupid that a person beats himself/herself to show sorrow. Please understand and don’t show Afghans as stupid people to the Shia or sunni in the world of Islam at least. God says even don’t hit water stronger in your face.

The problem with Shias is that they compare Husain, Ali, Fatema, Hasan, AND FINALLY ALL 12 IMAMS WITH MOHAMMAD (SAWS). Sometimes they ask those 12 imams to help them in times of need. It is really stupid. The only one whom we should ask from is Allah (SWT).
